Fractional Payroll & Finance Operations Consultant

Fixing the chaos that scaling creates.

I help fast-scaling companies fix their payroll and finance operations when they grow into multiple countries.

Which of these sound familiar?

If you tick at least two, we should talk.

What I do.

Every engagement is project-based and scoped to your situation. Diagnose what is actually broken, redesign the operation, and stay close enough to make sure the change holds.

Payroll-to-Finance Operations Fix

Map the full payroll-to-finance operation, identify where it is breaking and why, then rebuild the operating model: ownership structure, process flows, handoffs, cut-off discipline, and payment flow design.

Best for

Companies that know something is wrong but need someone to find it and fix it.

Multi-Country Payroll Setup

Design the operating model for paying people across borders using external payroll providers and EOR partners: select the right provider for each country, build the monthly data flow, and create the process that runs cleanly without you in the middle.

Best for

Companies expanding into new countries or stabilising a fragmented multi-country setup.

Fractional Operations Lead

Step in as a senior operations lead during a scaling phase, restructure, or leadership gap.

Best for

Companies between leaders or in transition where day-to-day senior ownership is missing.

“The problem is rarely the software or the team. It’s how the work is set up.”

Hi, I’m Daiva.

I came up through accounting before moving into payroll and operations. That means I can sit with a CFO and a payroll team and translate between them, fluently, in both directions.

I have worked inside these companies, accountable when things broke. That is the perspective most consultants do not have.

Based in Spain. Working with 50 to 500 person companies scaling across EMEA in tech, fintech, healthtech and igaming.

Questions I get asked.

Short answers to the things that usually come up before we speak.

How does an engagement usually start?

With a short conversation to understand whether and how I can help. From there I scope a diagnosis. No long sales process, no pressure.

How is the investment structured?

Every engagement is project-based and scoped to the situation, not billed hourly. A short call tells us the right shape and scale of the work.

How long does it take?

Most engagements run four to six weeks: a week to diagnose, two to redesign the operating model, the rest to implement and stabilise. An optional three to six month retainer is available after.

Is this right for a company our size?

I work with companies of 50 to 500 people, typically post-funding and scaling across multiple countries. If your payroll and finance operations are outgrowing the structure underneath them, yes.

What if our situation is too complex or specific?

Complexity is usually the point. The more entities, countries and exceptions you have, the more a clear operating model matters. I have worked inside these companies, accountable when things broke.

Do you work with Finance or with HR?

Both. The problems usually live in the gap between them. I came up through accounting before moving into payroll operations, so I can sit with a CFO and a payroll team and translate in both directions.

Let’s find out where the real bottleneck is.

A short conversation is enough to understand whether and how I can help.
